Issues!

Things have been going ok with Devin , but he is getting comfortable in our home and we are starting to see and have some issues with him. Devin is a good kid, he is your typical 12 year old boy. You still have to stay on him about cleaning his room, taking a bath, brushing his teeth etc. But he is quiet most of the time , except when he and Zachary argue about a video game or stuff like that.

When we started counseling with NACA, they asked me if there was anything that they should be aware of. Well we had only had him for 2 weeks at that point and I was not able to tell them much. Devin is discovering girls. Devin is very street smart thanks to a lot of things that he saw in his home. We had a situation with him last week. Last week we decided to let the boys stay at home, the girls and boys club was closed and Zachary's child care was closed. On Monday night Shelbie's friend Haley spent the night. When they awoke on Tuesday morning, the two girls were to go over to Haley's house for the day, well when i got home from work tuesday afternoon, Devin looks at me and says "guess what aunt nori" I slept walked into shelbie's room this morning and got in bed with Haley.......and he kind of laughed he thought it was funny. Well it immediately made me angry and I said to him BS...you knew what you were doing and that is prohibited in our home....well he argued with me stating that he really was sleep walking, when chris got home I told him what had happened, Devin did not do anything but lay in the bed with her, But these types of behavior are not acceptable in our home. We had a stern talking with devin, and we hope that this or anything like this will never occur again. We made haley's parents aware of what happened, I don't think they were mad, but they were definately concerned about the situation and therefore told their daughter that she was not allowed to be over here without supervision. We have a rule now that no one comes over unless Chris and or me are here.'

On other notes...to keep everyone updated.

Angel Devins oldest sister has been moved to a girls home in Cullman Alabama where she will have Bradley the baby with her, she will be able to finish school, learn how to care for Bradley and be made to keep a job . This will be good for her considering she is now 3 months pregnant again. Yes I said 3 months pregnant. She found out last night at Huntsville Hospital ER , when she went in with abdominal pains, possibly due to the fact that she was pregnant when they took her last week to get a Depo shot...yes they gave her a depo shot! 

Emily Seems to be holding strong where she is, I spoke with her on the phone Saturday when she called to see what time they were picking her up for visitation with her parents . I asked her if she was ready for school, she said yes, she will have to attend 28 more days at the probation school and then they will transfer her to Hazel green middle.

Angel has been enrolled at Sparkman High for tomorrow until they take her to Cullman.
